Campus Life’s student programming team is the driving force behind signature campus events like Welcome Week, Mountain Day, and All Peoples of the Earth Day.

There are 50+ Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) that span a wide range of themes including music, dance, social justice, advocacy, culture, and other hobbies and interests. Visit the Campus Life office or email rso@berea.edu for more information about joining or starting a club.

Outdoor Adventure Programs include initatives like Berea Bikes, Trips & Excursions, and Gear Rental.

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a volunteer student organization that plans and coordinates student activities on campus, such as the annual Homecoming dance. Their office is located on the second floor of Woods-Penniman.

The Espacio Cultural Latinx (ECL) serves as the central space and hub for Latinx student support at Berea College. Visit the ECL on the ground floor of Woods-Penniman.

The Post-Traditional & Student Parent Success Program serves Berea College students that are 23 years of age or older, and/or married, and/or have children.

The Student Government Association (SGA) is made up of three governing bodies- the Senate, Board of Residents, and Executive Council. SGA’s office is located on the first floor of Woods-Penniman.

The Voter Empowerment Political Awareness Coalition (VEPAC) is a non-partisan coalition of faculty, staff and students who are committed to bringing students into the political process, providing education and breaking down barriers to electoral participation, and encouraging student non-partisan policy solutions.
