Berea College now has an AI license for each user utilizing the BoodleBox platform!
We are excited to introduce BoodleBox, a collaborative AI platform that brings many leading AI tools together in one place. BoodleBox gives faculty, staff, and students access to a variety of AI models and specialized BoodleBots that can support writing, brainstorming, research, document analysis, data work, coding, instructional planning, and more. BoodleBox is currently utilized by 900 colleges and universities.
BoodleBox also allows users to compare responses from different models, work with uploaded files, collaborate in shared chats, and experiment with AI-supported workflows in a secure academic environment. BoodleBox is a collaborative AI platform that gives our campus access to dozens of AI assistants, called bots, all in one place. Instead of asking users to move between separate AI tools and subscriptions, BoodleBox brings leading models, collaboration tools, and customizable AI experiences together in a single environment. For students, faculty, staff, and researchers, it serves as a central place to explore AI for teaching, learning, research, writing, planning, and productivity.
What makes BoodleBox especially useful in higher education is that it is not just an AI chatbot. It is a workspace where users can choose different bots for different tasks, compare outputs, collaborate with others, organize work, and build more specialized AI assistants over time. This makes BoodleBox both a productivity platform and a practical environment for building AI literacy across campus.
BoodleBox gives our campus community a way to provide AI access that is more unified, flexible, and collaborative than using disconnected tools one at a time. It supports teaching, learning, research, and administrative work while also helping users build judgment about which bots to use, when to use them, and how to evaluate their outputs. That makes it valuable not only as a productivity tool, but as a platform for responsible and informed AI use.

BoodleBox gives users access to a wide range of leading AI models in one place. These include major tools from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Claude, Google Gemini, Meta Llama, Mistral and others, along with research and web-connected tools like Perplexity and Semantic Scholar. Because different models have different strengths, users can choose the best bot for writing, brainstorming, coding, research, image creation, data analysis, or fact-finding.
One of BoodleBox’s biggest advantages is flexibility. Instead of committing to a single AI provider, users can compare outputs from multiple bots in the same environment and learn which tools work best for which tasks. A student might use one bot for idea generation, another for research support, and another for coding or data work. Faculty and staff can also compare how different models respond to the same question, which helps users better understand how AI works and why model choice matters. This supports both productivity and AI literacy by helping the campus community understand that not all AI tools think, write, or reason in the same way.
In addition to access to outside AI models, BoodleBox includes built-in and task-oriented bots designed to help users get started quickly. These bots reduce the need to begin from a blank chat and make AI more approachable by guiding users toward common academic and professional tasks. Some support general platform use, while others focus on teaching, writing, planning, or student success.

BoodleBox allows users to switch bots at any point without starting over. If a second opinion, a different writing style, or a more specialized tool is needed, simply select another bot from the prompt field and continue in the same conversation. This is called bot stacking; using multiple bots within one chat to compare perspectives, test outputs, or bring different strengths to the same project.

BoodleBox Classroom, currently in Beta, is designed to help faculty and students use AI in more structured academic settings. Rather than leaving AI use hidden or disconnected from course design, Classroom helps faculty create guided spaces where students can engage AI as part of their coursework.
For instructors, this can include organizing assignments, using folders, reviewing student AI activity, limiting which Chatbots that can be used, and helping students document their process. For students, it creates a more guided environment for brainstorming, drafting, reflection, and problem-solving within the expectations of
a course. As Classroom continues to evolve, its value is already clear for campuses that want a more intentional academic approach to AI.
BoodleBox is built for collaboration as much as individual use. Users can work together in Group Chats, shared chats, and shared folders, allowing multiple people, multiple bots, and multiple knowledge sources to contribute to the same conversation or project. This makes BoodleBox useful not only for student teams, but also for faculty collaboration, departmental planning, advising teams, staff workflows, and research groups.
